Forming new habits
Oops I missed a day again. This is harder than I first thought it would be. Some days life just gets in the way and I am trying not to beat myself up about that. I’ll always make it up! For me though, I think it is important to try new things and stick with them, especially when they are going to help you in the end.
It was hard to get back into exercise regularly too, but I’m getting there and as mentioned previously, the results are now showing so there is payoff. Will there be a payoff for posting on a blog everyday? Who knows. At this point I think it is making me take more notice of the little things which is good. I am definitely conscious of the routine now and it is not a chore, so I believe it is serving it’s purpose in challenging me and finding something new to break my rut.
I’m still in the rut a little bit, but am working on different things to try and be a happier person in general. When George is away, I am now cooking more elaborate meals for myself rather than just throwing something together, which is also causing me to eat a bit healthier so yay. My goal by the end of this year is for things like exercise, writing this blog and cooking different things to be more of a habit. I just have to keep sticking at it!
