Last night we went out to dinner with some friends to Survey CO in the city. George and I have been here about a year or so ago and the food was great so we were excited to go back. It didn’t disappoint. The menu was delicious and very hard to decide what to have. So it was good that we just decided to get a whole bunch of stuff and just share. Here are the pics of all the dishes:
As you can see everything was presented amazing, it was delicious too. I looked ahead to the desserts (last three in the gallery) and decided that none of them really spoke to me, so I was quite happy to not partake in dessert. That meant I could eat more of the delicious savory food, like that amazing duck of the day.
Actually, it was quite amusing when we ordered all the food our waiter strongly advised us that we had ordered too much and almost wouldn’t let us order it all. He even had another waiter tell us the same thing. Well that was just like a red flag to a bull for George. Plus we didn’t want to remove any of the dishes we had picked. In the end, we ate it all. The waiters even gave us props. Honestly though, it was a lot of food, but I didn’t feel overly full. I am glad I didn’t have dessert. That would have set me over the edge. Oh, the wine menu was amazing too. Such delicious wine. And I have to say, the lighting was great for food photography. None of those pics needed flash.
So in short, if you like good food go to Survey Co. You won’t be disappointed.
