Back exercising
After having a week off due to illness, it was so great to be back at the gym this week. I found that even though I had missed a week of training, I really hadn’t lost that much ground. My PT didn’t push me too hard at first to ease me back in which was good. Today though was pretty much back at full swing, convenient it was leg day.
I was pretty happy that I managed to do a deadlift PB of 60kg. I haven’t been able to do more than 50kg previously. Whilst I could only do one rep at 60, I still did it. I attempted to do it again unsuccessfully which did deter me a little. But apparently it was due to fatigue (It was my 3rd set) and the fact I wanted it too badly. I can believe that. I really did want to lift it again and I was too eager in my attempts and didn’t prepare myself properly. Oh well a lesson for next time.
