After a very hectic week at work, I was super excited to run away to the Sunshine Coast for the weekend to chill out, drink and hang with awesome friends.

The thing I was most looking forward to was go karting this morning. I used to kart quite a bit as a kid and I loved it. The last time I went was on a slick ondoor track rather than outdoors and I had no fun. It was so frustrating because I’m light and every time I went around a corner I spun out if I was going at any decent speed.

So when I was asked if I wanted to kart on an outdoor big track I was like hell yeah! So 4 of us went out this morning and it was super fun. I still found that sometimes I would still fishtail out around corners so I had to not be as crazy as I would have liked but down that straight no one could touch me.

I did have a great time and I needed to let out some steam which I totally did. There were a couple of dickheads out on the track which made me nervous, because the had no disregard for themselves let alone anyone else so I avoided them like the plague.

Now I’m sitting in a lovely outdoor setting, drinking beers and having seafood. I’m in a very happy place 🙂
