There are so many Pokemon now it is a little crazy. I do love them all, but some hold more of a special place in my heart than others. So tonight I thought I would share with you my favourite Pokemon. Enjoy 🙂

• Bulbasaur – My very first favourite pokemon. I always chose Bulbasaur in the original games. He is just so cute. Also I loved that in the anime he was so sure of himself that he didn’t want to evolve. In every Pokemon game, I have always had a Bulbasaur with an everstone so that it will never evolve. I have so many Bulbasaur related things and he will always be my super favourite.
• Cindaquil – A very close second to Bulbasaur is Cindaquil. My Cindaquil in the original Pokemon Silver game (before someone deleted it) was the very first Pokemon I had to reach level 100. He is super cute and kick arse and I will always have one on my team. Also having one as a member of the stuffed animal helps :p
• Chikorita – I never picked a Chikorita in the games, but I loved it in the anime. Our Chikorita in our stuffed animal family also adds to my love for Chikoritas.
• Mudkip – Such a great combination being water ground. Swampert is a great final evolution and usually has a place on my team, but Mudkip is just so damn cute. Also who doesn’t liek Mudkipz? They also give such great hugs as per the one in our stuffed animal family.
• Gengar – I have always loved ghost pokemon. I also always have a Gengar in my ultimate team. They are just so versitile and bad arse. I also find them super cute!
• Shuppet – Another ghost pokemon. In every game I can, I always have a Shuppet called Shuppy and make it hold an everstone. One is always part of my travelling team around the world. Again, they are super cute and my affinity for ghost pokemon wins out.
• Driffloon – As per the above 2, it is a ghost type, but it is also crazy cute and has some interesting abilities and moves.
• Eevee and Evolutions – I have to list them all because I can’t pick a proper favourite. I have an Eevee army in most games with all available evolutions because I love the concept of them and enjoy the balance in the team. There are too many now though which is hard to pick for an ultimate Eevee team, so I tend to change it up depending on the opponent. I think Umbreon and Glaceon would be my 2 favourites if I had to pick.
• Cherubi and Cherrim – I love cherry blossoms so it is fitting I also love the cherry blossom Pokemon. There are very cute and whilst I never have them on my team, I do like leveling them up just for the cuteness factor.
• Mew – So cute, kick arse and a legendary. What else needs to be said.
• Dratini – I always loved Dratini in the games. It was my favouite to photograph in Pokemon Snap too. Plus it turns into Dragonair and Dragonite.
• Celebi – Again, another legendary, but this one holds a special place in my heart because it was the first legendary I had in a game. I loved it so. I finally have one again from the monthly wifi give away.
• Butterfree – So pretty, has an amazing move set to mess up people without them expecting it and I loved Ash’s Butterfree in the anime. That episode where he had to let his Butterfree go broke my heart. I still cry every time I see it!
• Bellossom – I always liked Bellossom. Then the first time George and I played Pokemon Stadium 2 together a momentous occasion happened. It was before George was as in to Pokemon as I am so he didn’t really know types. We did a random battle and our 2 final Pokemon were Rhydon for George and Bellossom for me. George laughed so hard and thought he was totally going to kick my arse. My Bellossom went first as it was the fastest and used Petal Dance. George’s Rhydon was down after 1 hit. He was flabbergasted. I laughed so hard it hurt. It was one of those gaming moments you never forget.

So there you have it! My favourite Pokemon. I know there are quite a few in that list, but there are so many now. That’s my excuse anyway :p
