As mentioned yesterday, we are currently on holidays. I’ve been looking forward to this week for ages becsuse we are actually having a relaxing break with not much on the agenda.

We did have an agenda today, however, and that was going out drinking all day surrounded by beautiful scenery. Otherwise known as wine tasting. Which if you are visiting the Hunter Valley you really should do.

We’ve been once before a few years ago when we visited our friends so this time we visited new wineries which was fun.

I can’t remember all the ones we went to now, mainly because I’ve been drinking all day, but we did have a nice time and had some delicious drops.

Of course we bought more wine. We always try not to but it is just so tasty. It is too hard to resist. At least we didn’t sign up for anything this time, we tend to do that.

Lunch was pretty tasty. We went to Harrigan’s Irish pub which had great memories from last time. It didn’t dissapoint. The menu had changed, but it was still good. We shared the cajun chicken burger and the peking duck pizza. Neither of which were Irish or pub food but we didn’t care. It was tasty.

It was so nice to be outside with no humidity too. The weather was perfect and we were hanging with amazing friends. So really, a perfect day.
