So E3 is done and dusted and there were a few announcements and more info on already announced games that have me hyped and really wanting to get through more of my shame pile quickly! I decided to go into more detail as to why so see below.

Legend of Zelda: Breath of the wild

Shut up and take my rupees. Nintendo had better release a Zelda special edition NX. This game looks so pretty and it is a must play for me. I’ll drop all other games to play and finish this. Excited doesn’t even come close to my emotions for this. I’ll probaby cry as soon as I get into the new open world Hyrule. As soon as I get that release date for the nx, this is mine.

I’m also refusing to watch any of the extended game play at E3 because I don’t want to know how to solve the puzzles. I know you are meant to be able to do everything in many different ways…but this is such a special game for me. I need to experience it all myself!

Pokemon Moon

I have a confession, I still don’t have Alpha Sapphire or Omega Ruby. Honestly, George and I probably won’t get it for a while. It was a remake after all. And I’m still to properly finish Pokemon Y which I’m working on right now (well I would be if my 3DS wasn’t charging) Anyway. I need Pokemon Moon. The new region looks beautiful. Everything looks nice. I’m in love with Rowlet. And I need Lunaala. It’s a psychic ghost. I love both those types. So psyched for this. I’ll preorder it soon.

Horizon Zero Dawn

I’ve been putting off obtaining a ps4 for ages but I can no longer wait. This game looks to be a cross of Zelda with Tomb Raider with robots and crafting thrown in. I’m so on board. And that world…so pretty. I neeeeds it!

The Last Guardian

Another game that is making me need a ps4. It looks so pretty and a great rpg with characters I know I’ll care about and love.

South Park the fractured but whole

I have always loved South Park, but I never had the time to play Stick of Truth when it came out. Good thing the special editions for the ps4 includes it! Anyway, this game looks hilarious and seems to stay true to South Park. I will totally play it. So tempted by that collector’s edition with the Coon statue too. I haven’t bought a collector’s edition since Majoras Mask 3D. It will go so well on my desk.

Injustice 2

Loved the first game so I’m sure to love this. I do enjoy DC comics and Mortal Kombat so really it’s a no brainer that this will be added to our collection. As a rule, we decided to keep the original Injustice as a party game so that neither of us knew the characters (since playing George at MK9 is no fun at all), but I’ll need to play through the injustice story again before I get to Injustice 2. Sorry friends.

Mass Effect Andromeda

I’m so excited for an even bigger galaxy to explore. Whilst I’ll miss the characters I love and know (and am still getting to know) I’m intruiged to see how Bioware moves the story forward and the new characters they create. I can’t wait to immerse myself in this world…but I will have to till George is done. Good thing I have a million or so other games to play! I don’t want to watch him play through this time though. I feel like this time I need to play with all the surprises and feels.

God of War

The original god of war series was not really up my alley. But this e3 gameplay trailer had me hooked! It looks so good. And the fact that Kratos is now looking after a kid is such a welcome twist and almost as if the series has grown up. Can’t wait to play it.

Yooka-Yaylee

Whilst it was announced mainly before E3 and they didn’t show much of it there I’m still so super excited for this game. I loved the golden age of Rare and seeing as this game has been billed as the spiritual successor to Banjo Kazooie I have a mighty need to play this. The trailer looks so pretty. The characters look great. The Rare humor is back too.

Death Stranding

I don’t know much about this game yet, but it had me at Kojima and naked Reedus butt. Whatever it is, whenever it is released I will play it. Also that reception to Kojima at the Playstation conference was perfect. I can’t wait to see the mad genius he produces now that he is free.
