Of course we had to compliment our Disney adventures with Universal Studios Japan in Osaka. I loved this theme park. It was brilliant!

What we did

Firstly we lined up for the Attack on Titan 4d experience. We love this anime. If you haven’t seen it, I highly recommend you do. It’s awesome. This 4d experience was awesome too. It was in Japanese obviously…but we got the drift. When Levi swung onto the screen my heart swooned. Also when there was blood squirting…that’s when the seat in front wet you. Brilliant. There was also this amazing Titan statue you could take a photo with. We did.

Next we lined up for the Evangelion XR ride. It was a 3hr line…but we had an express pass…so woooo pretty much straight in. The entry to the ride was awesome. It had Misato and Kaji and was quite exciting. It was a pity our phones couldn’t download the accompanying app but eh. OH MY FREAKING GOD! THIS RIDE! THIS RIDE WAS THE BEST THING EVER! When you were put on the coaster, you are given a vr headset when you need to tune to you. Then the fun begins! Holy shit. Such fun. A great coaster with amazing visuals. It’s such a shame it’s only the till June. It really does bring evangelion to life. There is nothing bad I can say about this ride. I’m a huge evangelion and this ride is beyond awesome!

We also went to Harry Potter World. We had a fast pass for the Hogwarts ride, so we looked around for a little while and then entered the line ride. It was the same as Orlando, but we stopped halfway through…so they let us ride it again straight away. This made George’s belly a little queasy so we rested a while.

Next up was the Hollywood the dream rollercoaster. Again we had a fast pass. This was an awesome coaster. I somehow managed to convince George to accompany me on it. It was really fun!

We were hoping to do the flying dinosaur coaster (well I was) but apparently our express pass didn’t cover it. Eh.

We had the choice between the Jurassic Park and Jaws ride. We chose Jaws since we rode Jurassic Park at Orlando. This was fun.

We also rode the Spiderman 4d ride. Again it was good. Payed more homage to the comics. We appreciated that.

Finally we watched the Monster Hunter 4d experience. Not as good as Attack on Titan…but it was ok.

We walked 22,645 steps today!

What we ate

We had a look at the menus online and decided to just eat snacks around the park throughout the day.

A strawberry churro. We had one of these at tee start and end of the day as they were delicious!

We didn’t eat this meal…but found it hilarious. For those AoT fans out there…it came with a potato.

A minion hot chocolate. That yello stuff was banana flavoured.

We were so full after all this that we didn’t need to eat anything else!
